Thank you all much for your constant support. It's appreciated beyond words.
Rodney,
I'm the guy from the plane flying from Atlanta to Paris. Finally made it onto the site and it looks tremendous. Keep on flying high man...

I absolutely love your work, Mr. White. I have been forwarding your website to all of my friends and family to show them how amazing it is. I am anxiously awaiting my tax refund so that I can purchase my first Rodney White!!!!

Mr. White i absolutely am in awe of your work. I have purchased two of your reprints from Target and am eagerly searching for more. Thank you for a style of art where the simplest sayings are so true, and the designs just seem to take you back to a time of simpler things, looking forward to more to come.
Your South Wall made me smile -- immediately! Now, why is that?
I would put your art in every room I own; if I could only find the space for it! I LOVE your art - thank you so much for sharing your gift with us!

Rodney--
You are a true genius! Your creativity and loving of the natural process of decomposing is absolutely amazing. Ive watched a few videos of you creating your masterpieces and am truly speechless. I love your work and have a few pieces in my house and plan to purchase as many as i can. I love the messages they send and am very very proud to display them. Keep on keepin' on. Much love... *shiloh*
Your artwork adorns my living room and dining room. I get TONS of compliments on my decor and you are a HUGE part of it. Thanks!
Hey Rodney --
Just came across your work and i think it's FABULOUS. I live in Jamaica (the island...lol) but I plan on visiting NY sometime this Spring. Would it be possible to visit your studio to see your work or is there an exhibition around that time?
I bought my first house and said " i want a Rodney White picture in all of my rooms.. so far I have 3 and 3 more rooms to go....My favorite is "Repair" i have it huge over our bed and it feels like that every nite when we go to sleep..I love angel wings and this picture is awesome ....
Keep up your imagination and your kick ass creativity... love and a fan for always, Michelle
Your works are simply amazing, i can't imagine them not creating an emotion of inspiration and joy for everyone who catches a glimpse! :)
Wow, I'm at a loss of words right now. You art brings on a whole new outlook for my art. You opened a gateway to let my imagination free. I have much respect for you. Congratulations on all of your success.
You do fantastic work. My wife and I have at least 8 reproductions of your originals and the collection is growing.
Thank you for what you do. You truly are blessed with a talent.
Thanks for the memory and praise. I am truly proud of you.
I'm a huge fan of vintage typography and noticed you have a stellar calendar on calenders.com. Wasn't sure if you knew that it's out there. http://www.calendars.com/Photography/Rodney-White-2010-Wall-Calendar/prod122905/?categoryId=cat00038. I am also a designer so I will enjoy seeing your work the whole year round :D. Cheers on the fantastic site and typography.
Thanks!
Katie
Like you, I've dabbled in artwork all my life, and like you, I find inspiration in the old and timeworn. I also find inspiration in your wonderful works. My favorite one is the latest one I've seen. Keep on keeping on, and know that you're inspiring me and many others like me every day.
I entered an art Gallery in Torino, Italy and "How great would life be.." called me instantly from the wall! Now the wall is my apartment's and the paint cheers all my leavings, and welcomes all my returns...after visiting your website I wish I had an house with more walls..and doors to get in and out!!
thanks for your art
Paolo
Came across your art this morning on AllPosters and fell in deep like! I'm planning a write up and art share over at Squidoo, it would be great if you had time to do a brief interview (I'd send you questions) to include on the lens. No worries if you are not interested, I'll still be putting something together. Peace out!
Thank you for capturing life and literature on such a profound canvas. I wish all the faces of concrete structures and cement streets could bare your postive messages. Your work is fabulous and I wish you many years of passion and inspiration. Will you be releasing the rest of your collection anytime soon? Are all of your prints available? I think it may be an addiction. Good luck and God Bless!
I have not been able to respond but I will attempt to answer a few of the questions with this one post. If I leave you out, please take no offense.
@Nina Britton- Thanks so much. I was that kid for sure. And I hope that the next kid is encouraged to do the same. Thank you.
@Jeanine- That is so crazy that we are both from Augusta and lived there simultaneously. We have to cross reference to see how much of a connection we have.
@Kerry C- The Target prints are not "unauthentic", they just aren't done specifically by me. But they are just as legal and at the same time, the same quality as if I did them myself. Don't hate on Target ;)
@Amy- Thank you so much. I don't do it for those reasons, but they are pleasant surprises. Like found money in washed jeans...:)
@Allison- Thank you for the snetiments. And I hope that I really have inspired your son. We need more of us out there. A little extra nugget for you- Cherries in my work reresent 'choice'. Ever heard the expression 'cherry-picking'? Well, that is the epitome of making choices. So i use them to represent that...
@Lynn- Thank you.
@ Michelle- Thank you as well.
@ Nicole- Thank you. My advice for you is to open up your mind to beauty in the unconventional. See it where others don't. And creativity will flow through you like water. Because you have a bigger pool of things to be imspred by when youopen your mind and eyes.
@ Sherrie- That attempt has not been very sucessful, but mainly because I havent truly tried. But I will keep that in mind...Thanks.
@Kathy- I have done a series back in '04 when I first started , that was centered around the theme of love. I did a Valentine's Day show then too. It was fun and a lot of good pieces came out of it. Some good insights and lessons that I am still heeding til this day.
Thanks all! I really appreciate the love and support. It helps me continue creating. Just being...
-Rodney
I was wondering if you have created any pieces about getting engaged or anything relating to marriage or marriage proposals. My twin sister is obsessed with your collection of artwork, and I am trying to help her boyfriend come up with a creative way of proposing that will leave her speechless!
Rodney - I have seen your work in a variety of places, but today I finally found a way to find out who you are. Love all of your work - the serious, the thought provoking and the playful! I read that you are trying to find some find some interest in country music. If you don't seem to be able to get into what is on the radio, you might try some of the more sophisticated blue grass - like Alison Krauss or Nickel Creek (they consider themselves progressive acoustic and not blue grass) and there are more... The perfectionism and honesty in their music may be another angle into that genre.
Best of luck to you in your recovery. I will scan the web for more opportunities to see your work. We are currently living in Alpharetta, GA and just missed being able to see you on display in ATL. Will keep our eyes open for the chance!
My senses are tingling. I've dreamed about what I'm seeing here visually. And to honor in the past as you do, as your subject. Thank you. Please let me know what advice you have to *flow, creatively.* I need it now.
I LOVE YOUR ARTWORK!!! You are so talented, and your artwork is motivational and inspirational! I wish you the best in all of your endeavors!
You are just incredible. Heart-stopping in a very good way. Thank you.
Wow, I really love your work and your work is also proving inspirational to my 15 year old son taking art classes at our local community college. My favorite piece is the "Seek Happiness" with the Cherries. I found my birth-mother just a couple weeks before my 40th birthday and in the past couple years--for some strange reason-- cherries have become our private message mechanism to one another. Cherries remind us to live, laugh, enjoy the moment, stop and see beauty and laugh at sexual inuendo. Cherries now permeate our philosophy and home decore! They have taken on a life of their own as my birth-mom and I frequently send eachother cherry inspired or themed gifts! BEst of all Mom has a sour cherry tree in her yard and now sends me sour cherry preserves every year in comemoration of our reunion! Congratulations on your successful career and thank you for fcreating my favorite Cherry artwork!
Allison
Rodney, thank you for blessing this world with your art. The prints of yours that I have at home have changed my life from the moment I saw each of them. I am touched and educated every time I read your blog.
Amy
I am searching for the best place to buy these canvas prints - authentic...not Target.
Any direction you can give would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

Wow! Rodney!
I am a huge fan of your art, and had no idea that YOU ARE a) African American (a commonality), and b) MY HOMEBOY! I am also from Augusta, and grew up there the same time you did. I'll bet we crossed paths several times. God bless you! Now, I'm an even bigger fan.

Rodney, I just wanted to say I'm so very proud of you, it brought tears to my eyes when I viewed some of your art work. I'm just in amazement of your talent. I pray for your continued success. Love Yah
Cynthia W
P.S. The next time you come back home to Augusta come and see me.
